Vespers at Augsburg Lutheran

Join us on Friday, September the 15th at 7:30 pm for a Vespers service at Augsburg Lutheran Church as the chorus and orchestra. present  Dieterich Buxtehude's Magnificat (BuxVW-Anh 1);  Warlich, warlich, ich sage euch by Johann Rosenmüller;  Ich will Wasser Giessen by Philipp Heinrich Erlebach; selections from Handel's Neun Deutschen Arien, and Annunciation from Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber's “Rosary Sonatas”.  Admission is free.

Ingrid Matthews and John Lenti in Recital

Recognized as two of today's most respected baroque musicians, violinist Ingrid Matthew and theorbist John Lenti will present a concert featuring works by Bieber, Schmelzer, Boddecker, and Kapsberger in Watson Hall on the campus of the North Carolina School of the Arts.

Gottesdienst at Home Moravian
Sunday, September 17th, 3pm

A Gottesdienst ("God's service") featuring J.S. Bach's cantata Gottes Zeit ist die allerbeste Zeit (Actus tragicus) BWV 106 along with Es ist nun aus (Johann Christoph Bach) and Ich lasse dich nicht (J.S. Bach). Join us Sunday, September 17th at 3pm at Home Moravian Church. Admission is free.
